Audify (“Audify — Volume Booster, Equalizer & Bass Boost”, the “Extension”) is a Chrome extension that boosts and equalizes the audio of the browser tab you are listening to. This policy explains what the Extension does and does not do with your information.
To remember your preferences, the Extension saves the following using Chrome’s local
storage (chrome.storage.local). This data stays on your computer and is never
sent to us or to any third party:
You can erase all of this at any time by removing a site in the Extension’s settings, or by uninstalling the Extension.
Analytics are off by default. If a future version offers an optional “share anonymous usage stats” setting and you explicitly turn it on, the Extension may send anonymous, aggregate feature-usage events (for example, “a preset was applied”) to help us improve the product. Such events never include audio content, page content, personal information, or the websites you visit, and you can turn the setting off at any time.
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties. We do not use your data for any purpose unrelated to the Extension’s single purpose of controlling tab audio.
The Extension is a general-audience audio utility and is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone.
If we update this policy, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the new version at this URL.
